The Academy has developed and written a series of more than 100 professional-level courses of instruction that are taught at The Academy throughout the year. These courses are enhanced to their maximum level through formal written curriculums, text/work books, and (for English ESL language courses) audio recordings, all of which are proprietary to The Academy. These courses of instruction are first listed and then briefly detailed below...

Course Descriptions:

ENGLISH ESSENTIALS:

Description: This course of instruction is the English course for beginners or those students who have not had formal education in English language communication (speaking, reading, writing, and listening). This course includes its own written curriculum, its own text/work book, and its own audio recording. This is a 96 hour course.

CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH:

Description: This course of instruction is designed to follow the English Essentials course or is for students who have a strong background in English communication (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) and want to develop their conversational skills. This course includes its own written curriculum, its own text/work book, and its own audio recording. This is a 48 hour course.

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH:

Description: This course of instruction is to follow the Conversational Spanish course or is for students who have an extensive formal education and practice in English communication (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and want to advance their English skills to a high level. This course includes its own written curriculum, its own text/work book, and its own audio recording. This is a 48 hour course.

AFTER SCHOOL ENGLISH I, AFTER SCHOOL ENGLISH II, SUMMER VACATION ENGLISH:

Description: These courses of instruction are designed specifically for high school-aged students who are starting with zero or minimal skills in English. This is a three-program course series that encompasses one full year of instruction (30 weeks of instruction). The first twelve weeks are conducted in the fall (After School English I), the second twelve weeks are conducted in the spring (After School English II), and the final six weeks are conducted during summer vacation (Summer Vacation English). This is a progressive-instruction course series that is comprehensive. Classes are conducted four days a week for two hours a day. These courses include their own written curriculums, their own text/work books, and their own audio recordings.

AFTER SCHOOL GREAT ENGLISH:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for high school-aged students who have completed the first year of After School English courses at The Academy or who possess an equivalent English proficiency level. This is one course of a progressive-instruction course series that is comprehensive in its dedication to verb conjugation and usage. The primary linguistic focus of this course is present tense verb conjugation and usage. Classes are conducted four days a week for two hours a day. This is a 40 hour course includes its own written curriculum, its own text/work book, and its own audio recording.

AFTER SCHOOL SUPERIOR ENGLISH:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for high school-aged students who have completed the first year of After School English courses at The Academy or who possess an equivalent English proficiency level. This is one course of a progressive-instruction course series that is comprehensive in its dedication to verb conjugation and usage. The primary linguistic focus of this course is past tense and future tense verb conjugation and usage in a variety of common settings. Classes are conducted four days a week for two hours a day. This is a 96 hour course includes its own written curriculum, its own text/work book, and its own audio recording.

AFTER SCHOOL EXCELLENT ENGLISH:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for high school-aged students who have completed the first year of After School English courses at The Academy or who possess an equivalent English proficiency level. Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for high school-aged students who have completed the first year of After School English courses at The Academy or who possess an equivalent English proficiency level. This is one course of a progressive-instruction course series that is comprehensive in its dedication to verb conjugation and usage. The primary linguistic focus of this course is perfect tense verb conjugation and usage in a variety of common settings. Classes are conducted four days a week for two hours a day. This is a 96 hour course includes its own written curriculum, its own text/work book, and its own audio recording.

AFTER SCHOOL ENGLISH QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for students who are continuing their studies from the After School Excellent English course here at The Academy. This advanced course concentrates primarily upon the formation of appropriate questions and answers, which are the foundation of conversation. The student should complete After School Great English, After School Superior English, and After School Excellent English before embarking upon this study, as correct verb conjugation is key to question and answer formulation. This course includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book. This is a 32 hour course.

GREAT ENGLISH:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for students who are advancing in their English language learning from either earlier English language instruction at The Academy or who have reached a high level of English language proficiency sufficient to benefit from this instruction. This course concentrates primarily on present tense verb conjugations and usage in a variety of common settings. This 40 hour course includes its own written curriculum, its own text/work book, and its own audio recording.

SUPERIOR ENGLISH:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for students who are advancing in their English language learning from either earlier English language instruction at The Academy or who have reached a high level of English language proficiency sufficient to benefit from this instruction. This course concentrates primarily on past tense and future tense verb conjugations and usage in a variety of common settings. This course includes its own written curriculum, its own text/work book, and its own audio recording. This is a 96 hour course.

EXCELLENT ENGLISH:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for students who are continuing their studies from the Superior English course here at The Academy. This advanced course concentrates primarily upon action-oriented verb conjugation as well as vocabulary specific to a variety of common settings. This course includes its own written curriculum, its own text/work book, and its own audio recording. This is a 96 hour course.

ULTIMATE ENGLISH:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for students who are continuing their studies from the Excellent English course here at The Academy. This advanced course concentrates primarily upon perfect tense verb conjugation as well as vocabulary specific to a variety of common settings. This course includes its own written curriculum, its own text/work book, and its own audio recording. This is a 96 hour course.

ENGLISH QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for students who are continuing their studies from the Excellent English course here at The Academy. This advanced course concentrates primarily upon the formation of appropriate questions and answers, which are the foundation of conversation. The student should complete Great English, Superior English, and Excellent English before embarking upon this study, as correct verb conjugation is key to question and answer formulation. This course includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book. This is a 32 hour course.

ACADEMIC WRITING SKILLS:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for high school juniors and seniors who are preparing for requisite standardized examinations, preparing for college, or preparing for the workforce. It is no secret that far too many high school courses do not adequately prepare the student for writing assignments beyond high school. This course covers the basics of writing as well as a great deal more. It is a prelude to Superior Writing Skills and Ultimate Writing Skills. This is a 48 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

WRITING SKILLS ESSENTIALS:

Description: This course of instruction is designed for all individuals who want to initiate the process of developing superior writing skills. Whether the student wants to improve their own writing skills for personal purposes, business purposes, or school beyond high school, this course offers outstanding instruction and practice to do just that. It is an introductory course that is highly recommended before enrolling in Superior Writing Skills and Ultimate Writing Skills. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

SUPERIOR WRITING SKILLS:

Description: This course of instruction is designed for individuals who want to take their writing skills to a very high level. It is an intermediate-level writing skills course that perfectly transitions from Writing Skills Essentials and then perfectly transitions into Ultimate Writing Skills. This is not an introductory course; it is urged that the student first completes Writing Skills Essentials in order to maximize the benefit of all this instruction. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

WRITING SKILLS FOR INVESTIGATORS:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for investigators who are professionals in the private sector and the public sector. Writing skills are today of supreme importance to the professional investigator. Professional-level writing skills are mandatory and non-negotiable for all in this field. This course establishes the all-important writing skills foundation that is requisite to developing superior writing skills, which is every investigator's goal. All investigators are encouraged to start their writing skills development with this course. That important? That important! This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

ADVANCED WRITING SKILLS FOR INVESTIGATORS:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for investigators who have completed the initial writing skills course or who have already established a very solid foundation of writing skills and who want to dramatically improve their own writing skills to a level approaching superior writing skills (the requisite level of writing skills for every single investigator!). This is a 40 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

ULTIMATE WRITING SKILLS:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed the Advanced Writing Skills For Investigators Course or the Superior Writing Skills Course or who have already established an very advanced level of writing skills. Here in this course writing skills are advanced to the level of superior writing skills through rhetorical writing skills instruction. Absolutely each investigator's individual writing skills must be at a superior level, but so, too, must the writing skills of those within their "writing community" (co-workers, subordinates, and superiors). This course is for all individuals who are serious about achieving superior writing skills. This is a 48 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 1 Essentials:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who want to establish basic reading and writing skills that create the requisite foundation for literacy. This basic course starts with the alphabet and progresses from that elemental point of instruction and learning. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 2 Words:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed Academy Literacy Project 1 or who have already established a basic level of literacy that is sound. Here in this course words become the focal point of instruction, as words are the next building block in literacy. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 3 Sentences:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed Academy of Literacy Project 2 or who have already established a basic level of literacy and who have a command of words and their linguistic operation. Here in this course sentences become the focal point of instruction, certainly to include their various elements and their proper crafting. Sentences are the next building block in literacy. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 4 Paragraphs:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed Academy Literacy Project 3 or who have already established a basic level of literacy and who have a command of sentence structure and composition. Here is this course we expand upon sentence crafting and unite sentences into coherent, well-structured paragraphs. This is the initial phase of writing skill development at a more advanced level. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 5 Correspondence:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed Academy Literacy Project 4 or who have already established writing skills that enable the crafting of advanced-level paragraphs. Here in this course writing skills are advanced by way of correspondence instruction and practice, which also serves as a social benefit as well as an employment benefit. Crafting correspondence is an excellent method of writing skills instruction and learning. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 6 Short Stories:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed Academy Literacy Project 5 or who have already established their ability to write sound single paragraphs as well as sound multiple paragraphs. Here in this course the concentration is upon the writing of short stories, which are based upon each individual's own life experiences as well as fictional experiences, situations, circumstances, and settings. This course concludes the Academy Literacy Project series. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

CURSIVE WRITING:

Description: This course of instruction is the essential course for adult postsecondary students who wish to learn the art of cursive writing or renew their abilities the proper way. It was prepared for adults and is paced for adults, especially those who require this talent in the workplace. This is a 48 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

AFTER SCHOOL CURSIVE WRITING:

Description: This course of instruction is the essential course for junior high school and high school students who have never had any cursive writing instruction or who wish to renew their cursive writing abilities the proper way. It is a very important course for students who are preparing for college or who are preparing for their initial employment ventures. It was specially created for this very specific group of students in this age-range. This is a 48 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

ELEMENTARY CURSIVE WRITING:

Description: This course of instruction is the basic course for elementary school students who have previously had no cursive writing training. It has been designed to progress slowly and to help these young students to learn key elementary-level vocabulary words. In the course of studying cursive writing, these students are introduced to basic writing skills that will serve as a critical foundation for later writing. This is a 48 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.

GREAT ENGLISH IN THE GROCERY STORE:

Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for students who have completed the Advanced Conversational English course or the English Summer Vacation course here at The Academy and who are prepared to intensively study vocabulary, terminology, phrases, and verb conjugations in present tense pertinent to work in the grocery store. Employment in the grocery store must never be compromised because of a language barrier.
